Police to confiscate skateboards for violations in Laguna Beach

Just over a month ago we told you about a new set of ordinances in Los Angeles County that fine skateboarders up to $500 for riding that is deemed "unsafe." Now officials in Laguna Beach, about an hour south of Los Angeles, have proposed a new ordinance that would give police the right to confiscate skateboards from skaters caught without a helmet.
