NORMANDY, France -- Last week marked the 68th anniversary of the D-Day invasion by the Allied Forces in World War II. In commemoration, a bronze statue honoring the leadership of Major Dick Winters -- made famous by the "Band of Brothers" book and miniseries -- was unveiled here.
